  • NONPACC an acronym that is an abbreviation of New Orleans Neighborhood Police Anti-Crime Council meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm. The meetings are held at Touro Hospital in their community conference room, 2nd floor. The meetings are open to all and provide strategic information about crime in the 2nd District.

  • Silence is Violence: www.silenceisviolence.org - SilenceIsViolence is an anti-violence campaign that was founded following the December 28 murder of Dinerral Shavers and the January 4 murder of Helen Hill.

  • The area between Delachise and Louisiana Avenue is part of the Irish Channel Historic District. Anyone can call HDLC and report violations within the local historic neighborhoods. Their phone number is 658-7040. HDLC will go out and put a stop work order on the house and require that the property owner submit a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the work they are doing on the building.
